While adobe illustrator offers a valuable set of default solutions solutions for layout and design problems, a programming language allows for questioning the set of available methods. When I discovered I could code Illustrator extensions using html, css and javascript, I could not wait to explore the potential in shaping my own design tools as a craftsman. This is because I believe predefined, generalised solutions can limit my freedom to think wider.

A personal project
